The Old York Road Symphony Sing-A-Long and screening is back on December 13th! This festive evening begins with a holiday concert and sing-a-long by the Old York Road Symphony concert at 6:30pm. The program will start with a selection of holiday favorites, such as the suite from “The Nutcracker” and Leroy Anderson’s “Christmas Festival.” The concert concludes with a sing-along of classic carols. Following the concert, at approximately 8:00, The Hiway will screen a holiday classic A CHRISTMAS CAROL from 1951 starring Alastair Sim as Ebenezer Scrooge. The Old York Road Symphony was founded in 1932-33. Our mission is to provide an outlet for the interests and talents of serious musicians of all ages, while enriching the cultural life of suburban Philadelphia.
